GrowthReadyIQ handles business assessments, reporting, documents, and professional collaboration. This document explains the responsibilities and rights involved. To ask a question, contact devon@growthreadyiq.com or 403-585-5132.
1. Operator, agreement and scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to GrowthReadyIQ and associated websites, applications, portals, business assessments, reports, integrations, and engagement tools (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Seven Tree Media, referred to as "GrowthReadyIQ," "we," "us," or "our." The other party is the individual accessing the Service and, where the individual acts for a business or professional practice, that authorized organization ("you" or "Customer").
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, submitting an assessment, entering a written order or agreement, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. Additional written Partner, subscription, data processing or professional service agreements may apply. If they conflict with these Terms, the more specific signed agreement controls for the subject it covers unless that agreement expressly provides otherwise.
2. What the Service provides
GrowthReadyIQ helps business owners and authorized professionals define business objectives, provide assessment information, conduct guided interviews, review public market context, receive goal-specific readiness analysis, examine financial information and valuation context when supported, organize recommended improvements, and track implementation work and reassessments.
Depending on enabled features and permissions, the Service may include Partner client and prospect records, referral and invitations, advisory briefings, engagement workspaces, tasks, supporting documents, evidence review, scheduled milestones, reporting history, controlled sharing, benchmark views, outreach, CRM/webhook configuration and eligible capital or investor-discovery workflows. Menus, objectives, outputs and integrations depend on current configuration, account scope, data availability and the governing agreement. A description of a possible feature does not assure entitlement to that feature.
3. Eligibility and account authority
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter these Terms, or meet any higher applicable local age requirement. You must provide accurate registration information, maintain current contact and company details, protect login credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent caused or authorized by you, subject to applicable law.
You may only access another business's information with appropriate permission. Invited users must use their assigned roles and may not seek broader access through borrowed credentials, shared links, software manipulation or impersonation. We may require verification before sensitive account changes or data access.
4. Business owners and assessment participants
The business owner or authorized participant is responsible for selecting the correct business and objective, providing information they are entitled to share, and using reasonable care in answers. Assessment questions can request approximations and supporting context. Unknown or estimated information should be identified accurately, along with currency, period and relevant assumptions.
An assessment is based on a frozen, configured definition and goal-specific rubric. Different objectives may use different underlying scoring dimensions. Interview coverage, diagnostic readiness, plan-completion projections, confidence, forecast dates, and valuation scenarios are different measures. Submitted answers become saved assessment records; text that remains in an unsent draft may not be preserved.
5. Partners, professionals and invited specialists
Partners may access tools for authorized client relationships and engagements, depending on scope and roles. Each Partner remains responsible for the legal and professional duties applicable to its own practice, including client onboarding, conflicts, fee disclosures, confidentiality, consent, advice, professional licensing and applicable rules. GrowthReadyIQ provides software and associated workflow tools; the presence of an advisor or expert feature does not create a professional-client relationship with Seven Tree Media.
Invitations, engagement membership, report visibility, financial access, document access, recommendation approval, evidence verification and data sharing follow separate permissions. Partners may only disclose or act on information within their authority. An expert invited to one engagement has rights only to that engagement's permitted records. Partners are not automatically entitled to separate branded instances or global platform administration.
6. AI-generated content and human review
The Service may use automated methods and third-party AI technologies to prepare research context, structure follow-up questions, score a governed rubric, generate findings, interpret financial facts, propose action plans, and help produce professional support recommendations. Automated analysis is based on available information, selected methods and stated assumptions, and can contain errors, omissions, unexpected wording, outdated data or incorrect conclusions.
You must review outputs before relying upon them for consequential business, personnel, transaction, funding, regulatory, legal, tax, accounting or investment decisions. The Service is decision support. It is not a substitute for qualified professional advice, an independent financial statement audit, formal valuation appraisal, investment suitability review, legal due diligence, or specialist investigation.
7. No guaranteed business outcome
GrowthReadyIQ does not promise any particular readiness score, business value, sale price, buyer interest, sale completion, profitability, financing, investment, lender approval, franchise viability, IPO eligibility, successor availability, savings, revenue increase or achievement date. A report can highlight relevant preparation and likely effects without guaranteeing any later result. Market estimates, pricing multiples, action impact ranges and projections depend on data quality, changing conditions and execution.
8. Financial analysis, valuation and projections
Where supported, valuation context may use a selected earnings or revenue basis and a range of multiples or other goal-specific scenario assumptions. The resulting figures are indicative, not a qualified business appraisal or a firm transaction bid. User-entered financial data is ordinarily self-reported and may require independent verification. Use of a revenue multiple, adjusted earnings, SDE, EBITDA or enterprise-to-equity bridge is subject to relevant context and assumptions.
Completing an action does not automatically revalue the business. Goal readiness projections based on action-resolution ratios are planning signals rather than new diagnostic scores. Dates and economic impact estimates depend on capacity, prerequisites, timing and other assumptions; a recommended first 90 days is not a promise that every improvement program is complete in 90 days.
9. Scope of investor and capital features
Capital-readiness and investor-discovery functionality may be available only for eligible goals and approved accounts. Discovery requires the applicable business owner's permission and disclosure selections. A Partner cannot grant this consent for the owner. Matching an opportunity with a mandate indicates potential alignment only. It does not represent an investment offer, automatic introduction, financial advice, underwriting, a commitment to transact, or transfer of funds.
10. Accuracy of public research and third-party sources
The Service may gather information from public company websites, market reports, industry research and other available sources. Such material can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or unrelated to your actual performance. Public research is context for the assessment and should not be represented as independent verification of self-reported operations or financial results. You are responsible for assessing sources before relying on them.
11. Action Plans and professional support
Recommendations may identify priority, timing, dependencies, suggested roles, evidence, deliverables, possible financial effect and professional disciplines. Actions can be accepted, assigned, completed, reopened or dismissed under authorized controls. Status changes and projected readiness progress do not establish that an independently verifiable improvement has occurred.
Requests for professional help are reviewed through the applicable advisor or Partner workflow. Displaying a specialist discipline, referral or booking link does not itself appoint a professional, guarantee availability, establish terms of engagement, or confer professional credentials. You decide whether to hire a provider under a separate agreement with that provider.
12. Data, confidentiality and authorization
You retain your lawful rights in business information you submit to the Service. You grant Seven Tree Media and its authorized service providers a limited right to process, store, transmit, analyze, transform, display and reproduce that information as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support and improve the Service consistent with our Privacy Policy, applicable contracts and law.
You represent that you have the rights and lawful authority necessary to submit information, including information about third parties. You must honor confidentiality obligations, permissions, data minimization requirements and applicable privacy laws. You may not upload another person's confidential financial, customer, employee or other sensitive records without appropriate authority. Sharing through our tools must be restricted to intended recipients.
13. Reports and output use
Subject to applicable fees, permissions and rights in third-party content, you may access and use reports and recommendations generated for your authorized business or clients for internal business planning and legitimately authorized advisory work. Report contents may incorporate third-party sources, public data or other materials subject to separate rights. We reserve rights in the software, templates, platform methods and underlying intellectual property.
You remain responsible for confirming whether a report may be disclosed to a buyer, lender, investor, professional or other third party. Sharing permissions and scope settings are separate from intellectual-property ownership. You must not present model-generated assertions as audited or independently verified facts.
14. Intellectual property and platform licence
Seven Tree Media and its licensors own the Service, its code, product design, trademarks, service names, proprietary methods, interfaces, databases and other protected materials, excluding content owned by users or third parties. We grant eligible users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service within authorized accounts and contractual limits.
You may not copy the Service or its user interface, reverse engineer systems except where law permits, resell access, sublicense accounts, remove proprietary notices, or use the software to develop competing datasets or products in violation of applicable law and your agreement. Suggestions or feedback may be used to improve our services without creating an obligation to compensate the submitter, subject to privacy and confidentiality obligations.
15. Acceptable use and prohibited activities
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized access, credential sharing outside permitted workflows, data scraping, bulk extraction, introducing malware, bypassing rate limits or permissions, fraudulent representations, interfering with hosting or service availability, uploading illegal or infringing material, disclosing another party's confidential information, testing security without written authorization, or using outputs to harass or unlawfully discriminate against individuals.
You must not submit instructions or data intended to manipulate AI processes into disclosing restricted information or defeating security controls. Automated access is permitted only when expressly authorized through a documented integration or agreement.
16. Accounts, permissions and controlled sharing
Account, Partner, client and engagement privileges are based on assigned scopes. A share link, if available, may include selected sections, expiry, optional password and visibility controls. Anyone with access to an active link may view its included sections, so users must manage recipients and link credentials appropriately. Removing a link later does not retrieve reports, images or documents previously downloaded by recipients.
Export, print/PDF, notifications, shared links, investor discovery and general system access are separately governed. You must exercise them within permission and confidentiality limits.
17. Integrations and third-party services
The Service may connect to or embed third-party services such as web forms, email, scheduling, hosting, CRM systems, webhook endpoints, analytics and AI providers. Separate terms or privacy policies may apply. GrowthReadyIQ is not responsible for the independent service, acts or omissions of an unaffiliated provider beyond responsibility imposed by law or our express agreement. You are responsible for authorized endpoint selection, secure credential handling and the information exchanged through your own integrations.
18. Fees, trials, billing and taxes
Applicable subscriptions, assessment fees, usage charges, trial terms, refunds, cancellation rights, renewal details, invoicing currency and payment methods will be disclosed through the purchase or contracting process or a separate written agreement. Charges agreed to in a signed order or checkout govern the related purchase. You are responsible for applicable taxes and authorized fees subject to mandatory legal requirements. We may suspend billable access for materially overdue balances after required notice, subject to any separate contract.
Where promotional, pilot or free access is offered, the offer's stated scope and duration control. An assessment invitation does not automatically establish that all future services or advisor engagements are included at no cost.
19. Availability, changes and maintenance
We may maintain, update, secure, replace, retire or adjust elements of the Service from time to time. Features, providers and integrations can change to address technical, contractual, security or legal needs. We seek reasonable continuity and may provide notice of materially significant changes where required by contract or law.
A report-generation job may continue on the server after you leave the page, while interruptions, outages, provider delays, data issues or retries may affect availability. Estimated completion times and progress signals are informational rather than service-level guarantees unless a written service-level agreement provides otherwise.
20. Security and incident reporting
We apply reasonable security practices appropriate to the data and technology involved and maintain access controls intended to limit unauthorized activity. You are responsible for credential protection, permissions, secure sharing and reporting suspected misuse. Notify us at devon@growthreadyiq.com if you identify a suspected incident involving your account or client information.
Security responsibilities and personal information rights are described in our Privacy Policy. We will investigate and respond to incidents and make legally required notifications according to applicable obligations.
21. Electronic communications
You consent to receive operational communications related to account use, security, reports, invited work and requested services through the contact methods you provide, subject to applicable law. Promotional communications are subject to separate consent and opt-out requirements where applicable. You are responsible for maintaining a working address for important account notices.
22. Confidentiality of partner and professional information
Authorized professional users must treat client records, reports, financial information, valuation context, private notes, evidence and access links as confidential. Disclosure is permitted only to the extent authorized, required by lawful process, or otherwise allowed under an agreement and law. Platform-level role and permission controls supplement rather than replace the professional user's own confidentiality and recordkeeping duties.
23. Disclaimers
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, the Service, information, projections, generated content and third-party integrations are provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted access, error-free output, market accuracy, fitness for a particular transaction or achievement of a specific business outcome. We make commercially reasonable efforts to provide the contracted Service, and nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that the law prohibits excluding.
24. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Seven Tree Media and its officers, employees, contractors and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, goodwill, data or anticipated savings arising from use of the Service, even where advised of the possibility, except to the extent such exclusion is unenforceable.
For claims connected to paid Services, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited, to the extent permitted by law and absent a separate controlling written agreement, to the amounts actually paid by the claimant to Seven Tree Media for the affected Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. For access provided without charge, liability is limited to the amount permitted by applicable law. These limitations do not exclude liability for intentional misconduct, fraud, statutory obligations or other matters that cannot legally be limited. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
25. Indemnification by organizational users
To the extent allowed by law, a business or Partner using the Service in a professional or commercial capacity agrees to defend and indemnify Seven Tree Media from third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from its unlawful submission or disclosure of data, misuse of the Service, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by Seven Tree Media's wrongful conduct or legal responsibility. This obligation is subject to any applicable written agreement and mandatory law.
26. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and request closure through available account channels or by contacting us. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if required for security, law, nonpayment under applicable terms, serious unauthorized use or material contract breaches, with reasonable notice when practical and legally required. Suspension of access does not automatically cancel already running authorized server processes or erase records.
Following termination, access to data and exports, if available, is governed by the applicable agreement, our Privacy Policy, legal retention obligations and reasonable technical procedures. Necessary confidentiality, intellectual property, payment, dispute and liability clauses survive where appropriate.
27. Governing law and disputes
Unless a different signed agreement or mandatory law applies, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and other laws establishing exclusive jurisdiction, the courts located in Alberta, Canada, have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
Before initiating formal proceedings, parties are encouraged to contact devon@growthreadyiq.com with a summary of the dispute and allow a reasonable opportunity for informal resolution. Nothing here prevents a party from seeking urgent protective relief or exercising non-waivable statutory rights.
28. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the Service, legal requirements or commercial arrangements change. We will post updated Terms with a new date and provide additional notice or seek consent where required. Material changes to an existing paid agreement will be handled according to that agreement and applicable law. Continued use after legally effective notice may signify acceptance where the law permits.
29. General provisions
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement. You may not transfer your rights or account access without applicable permission; we may transfer rights and obligations with a legitimate business reorganization or transfer subject to legal duties. These Terms and any incorporated, controlling agreements form the applicable agreement regarding the Service. Headings aid navigation and do not alter meaning.
